If you are a Joint Annual Meeting attendee looking for accommodations in Denver, you are welcome to call the hotel to inquire whether last minute cancellations have opened up some room availability. However, please be prepared to find accommodations at other hotels, near the conference venue. We apologize for any inconvenience and look forward to welcoming you to the conference!
The joint 2023 AMS-SMT Annual Meeting will be held on 9-12 November 2023 in Denver, Colorado, at the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel. Step just outside the doors and take a stroll down the iconic 16th Street Mall, a pedestrian-friendly promenade lined with shops, cafes, and restaurants. For a unique shopping experience, head to the historic Larimer Square, where you can browse boutiques and specialty shops housed in beautifully restored Victorian buildings. In the mood for some culture? Be sure to visit the Denver Art Museum or the Denver Performing Arts Complex, both located just a short walk from the hotel. And for those who love the outdoors, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to explore, including nearby Denver Zoo, Washington Park and Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater.

The student rate is available for the nights of Wednesday, 8 November 2023 – Saturday, 11 November 2023. The student rate is available on a limited number of rooms, first come, first served. Information on reserving student rooms will be available in June.

Cancellation Policy: A credit card is required to guarantee all reservations. You may cancel your reservation for no charge until 3 days before arrival.

There are a limited number of student quad rate rooms and they will be made available on a first come, first serve basis. When the student rate becomes available in the summer, an email announcement will be sent to all student members of the AMS and SMT.
